 Document Scanning

Document scanning converts your paper documents to digital images that are then stored on CD, DVD, or on your server.  In many cases, they imported to your existing document management system. We support any format with the most common including:

  • Tagged Image File Format (TIFF) - A high-resolution, tag-based graphics format. TIFF is used for the universal interchange of digital graphics.
  • Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPG) - Commonly used with photographic or continuous tone images, the JPG compression has the benefit of a smaller file size with little perceptible loss in image quality.
  • Portable Document Format (PDF) - Created by Adobe Systems in 1993 for document exchange, PDF is used for representing two-dimensional documents in a manner independent of the application software, hardware, and operating system.

Scantiva uses multiple high speed scanners to provide our clients with a fast turn around time.  We leverage advanced imaging technologies to provide you with digital images that are clear and legible.  Once your images have been successfully and faithfully captured, the original documents can be safely stored in archival media for long term preservation.

Contact Us - We would like to discuss your scanning needs and provide you with a sample of our scanning services.
